Set high on Grove Hill along Lechlade Rd, Grove Hill Care Home is conveniently located on the border of 3 major towns, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Swindon and is accessible from the M4 motorway. It has beautiful views looking down on the surrounding countryside and has a very family feel with a very personal touch. Grove Hill has accommodation for up to 27 adults over 3 floors and includes a passenger lift. The home has a wealth of experience among its long standing staff team and experienced Manager, most of whom have been at the home for several years. Grove Hill has been operating as a residential care home since 1986, serving the local community with a reputation for success. It is very much a residential home where people’s needs are met in a person centred way and to a high standard.

Home cooked meals are prepared freshly everyday using fresh ingredients and with plenty of choice, if you don’t like what’s on the menu the cooks are willing to conjure up something else to your taste. All meals including breakfast can be offered in our communal rooms or in your bedroom. We have open plan communal space which consists of tv lounge and dining area with a view into our garden. Alternatively, we have some quiet areas if you prefer some time alone. Whether you wish to pick out a book from our small library, watch tv or sit and look out into the garden, there is always something for you to do.

Activities are provided everyday with something to suit everyone’s preferences. We also plan activities around the ‘POOL Activity Tool’ to identify people’s abilities and their level of capacity to find something that meets their needs. These involve lots singing and group discussion based themes to get everyone involved as well as some one to one time with those who prefer to spend time in their rooms.

We have a private garden with seating so you can sit and enjoy the weather over a book or a meal. Our garden is secure and leads into our rear car park with ample parking.

Our home is fully adapted for those who may have disability needs, there are bath chairs for those who have difficulty getting in and out of the bath and a passenger lift for those who struggle with the stairs.
